Hey, I'm Seri. Nice to meet you. I love Smiley faces and am a happy human in general. I took Sewing Class in 8th grade. I've had a sewing businesses in the past called SeriWear and Serious Bizness until happily landing on Sew Smiley in 2007. I really enjoy helping people with their sewing needs.

Sew Smiley Sewing services are $20/hour. Most of the time, I can let you know the price guesstimate after I look over the project. People find my work to be affordable and well executed. I am super easy going and I communicate via email, text, phone or in person. I take Checks, cash, Venmo, Square and PayPal. Easy breezy.

I assist clients in the Minneapolis/St Paul Metro area. My sewing work runs the gamut from original creations, costumes, hand crafted bags, home decor and of course, alterations. I am always happy to discuss your projects. I live in South Minneapolis and am happy to arrange variations on easy drop off and pickup. My turn around time can be 2 days-3 weeks.
I do say "Nay" to some things
After many years in business, I choose to not do velvet, leather or men's tailoring. While I can make clothing from scratch, I actually prefer alterations. I also let the bridal professionals do their thing. If I am unable to help you, I will do my best to recommend someone else.
